…Gotten a Sequel

Guys, I am totally cheating here. Technically, The Last Town by Blake Crouch is the 3rd book in the Wayward Pines series.

BUT I NEED ANOTHER BOOK LIKE YESTERDAY.

Seriously, I loved the end of this book/series. It was so awesome, the whole thing, beginning to end. But I seriously need to know what happens to everyone after.

I NEED MORE!!!! GET ON IT, BLAKE!!

…Had a Spin-Off Series

I am picking the Paranormalcy trilogy by Kiersten White as the series that I’d love a spin-off series for. I liked the end, it was well done & everything was pretty much all tied up. But I could use so much more of Evie & Lend. SO MUCH MORE. They’re my faves.

…Ended Differently

I have to pick Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer.

Overall, I liked it as an end to the Twilight saga, but the entire book built up to this epic battle that…..never happened.
AND I AM STILL VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THAT FACT.

That’s actually the one thing I loved about the last movie. They gave us an awesome battle that, yea, never really happened, but it was what I wanted in the book but never got.

…Had a Film Franchise

I’ve only read the first book so far, but I have the second & third on my shelves and, you know what? I’d love to see The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater as a film series.

IT WOULD BE SO RAD.

…Had a TV Show

I would LOVE to see The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin as a TV show. The mystery, the romance, the extreme SUSPENCE!!! I’d watch it every night. I feel like maybe Netflix could be the best way to do it.

Anybody know anyone from Netflix? I need to pitch this.

…Had One Point of View

Imma have to agree with Hufsa on this one. I really wanted to strangle Four through most of Allegiant, he drove me crazy. His POV kinda seemed unnecesary & maybe if it hadn’t been there I wouldn’t have hated him so much.

Or maybe it would’ve been worse, who knows?

…Had a Cover Change

This one took a minute to figure out. I have quite a lot of books and, I’m not gonna lie, I’m very easy to please with cover art. A lot of the ones I looked through were gorgeous to me. Then I remembered the one my mother let me borrow.

I don’t HATE the cover of Beautiful Lies by Jessica Warman, but it could definitely use something a little…..more beautiful, I guess? It’s kind of a strange cover. Like, it makes sense with how the book is about twins & one of them disappeared, but still.

…Stopped Reading

There is really only one book that I really wish I had just put down & never picked back up, but I didn’t. I read it all the way through, & I hated it. The whole thing.

Every. Single. Page.

Fates & Furies by Lauren Groff is just awful.

Totally Shouldn’t Have Pre-Judged

Divergent by Veronica Roth is a book that I assumed would be awful & that I would hate it because, at the time, I was very anti-dystopian novels. I just really didn’t like the genre at the time. But my friend Megan made me an offer I couldn’t refuse.

She told me to buy it, & if I ended up actually hating it, she’d buy it from me for the exact price that I paid for it initially. It’s like, how could I say no? Either way, I win. And I’m glad I went through with it, cause she was right. It’s an awesome series, & I love it.
